For animation & flash their are different softwares like 3dsmax & macromedia flash studio respectivly, but if you want to make a website & easily, than use Fron Page 2003. It is their now on vista but surprisingly it was on Office xp also but was removed before relase of win xp SP2 & office 2003. You can download it (front page a 400 MB file) also. You will have to learn macromedia flsh by yourself but 2dsmax you can learn if taught by a professional.

Dreamweaver is very user friendly. It should come packaged with Flash in Studio MX.
