And do Big Macs count as two?

Because there are so many restaurants now, it's probably too much to keep tally of the figures. They stopped keeping count back in 1994. The last actual estimate was about 5 billion but their methodology was unclear. I believe they count the actual number of burger sandwiches -- so a hamburger and a Big Mac would count equally. On the signs, they often still say "Over One Billion Served" and others sometimes say Billions and Billions Served.

Yeah my sign stopped at 99 billion too and it bothers me to no end. I'll bet I've eaten a whole cow there and I want my cow counted. I think we all ought to protest and get the count restarted..

Maybe instead of how many hamburgers they sold, they should put how many kids have become obese instead....something to think about (hey, I eat there too, just not on a daily basis as alot of kids/teens are doing)

"hamburgers', probably about 3 that were made with real meat. As for the number of 'meat products" they have sold, it's more like 100,000,000,000.00 give or take.

because the number is so high they can't keep an accurate count without being suied for false advertising.

There is no number that high; they have surpassed how far we have the ability to count.

Because people are so uptight now. Burger King is making me fat...no, they are not, they never asked you to come over, that is your choice.
