When fully open the center is about 3-4 inches wide and the tenicals are around 4-5 inches long. It is white with a pink base and has pink / purpe tips. I took pictures but can not figure out how to post them.

Based on your description, I'd say a Haitian pink-tipped anemone (Condylactis sp.). See photo to compare with yours: http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11_03/product_info.php?products_id=323&parent_category=4&category_search=63&root_parent_id=4

It sounds like a small pink hatian. I have one the tenticals are 12" long. They grow well and if you use a turkey baster and blast him with brine shrimp, he will get large fast.

I will feed my earthworms every now and then. Just remember, when they eat this amount at one time, it kind of looks dead the next day. They will shrivle up to nothingthen become bigger and brigher than before

It is a pinky.

its a purple tipped anemone. i don't know the scientific name for them but i do know that clown fish don't like them. the purple tipped anemone is from the pacific ocean. they like cold water around 68 decrees. They also require lots of light. if your looking for an anemone for a clown fish try a rose anemone. they are hardy and don't require as much light.
