I only got sick right after I had the epidurel ( r however you spell it). Mine had like a morphine drip type button on it. I only used it when I couldn't tolerate the pain anymore. But the attending nurse came in a few times and pushed it while I was asleep and I had a bad reaction to the amount in my system. But since I had nothing in my stomach anyway, ireally was no big deal. But if you do throw up, what better place to do it than in a hospital?

I did right in the beginning of my labor and the nurses blamed it on bad back labor, as soon as I got my epidural the sick feeling went away. Good Luck.

Never heard of it. By the time your 9 months along your not eating much there just isn't room enough for a large meal and the baby. Maybe they throw up if they get an anesthetic but I never did. Been around that bend 4 times too.

I had morning sickness for the first 2 months. I had back labor and with EVERY contraction---YES I threw up. I guess that the nurses in the delivery room were getting tired of it because the head nurse came in and gave me Demerol to relax me so that I would stop vomiting!

I felt like I wanted to for a brief moment. Between the pain and the huge amount of pressure I felt a little sick but it passed. I heard it happens
Guess it depends maybe if you had an epidural or natural. I did it natural.

When I was in labor with my first, I did have terrible vomiting. But with my other two I didn't have any at all. I think it just depends on the person. I think if you have an epidural, yes I'm sure I spelled it wrong, I think it can make you sick to you stomach.

I didn't when I was pregnant, my sister did. I think it just depends on the person. It may happen, but you may also cr@p on the table. Labor and delivery are crazy times for a woman's body, so anything may happen!
