I understand how our government has the power to do it (through laws which circumvent the Constitution), but how do the terrorists oppress us?

You have a better chance of hitting the lottery for 200 million dollars than you do getting into a terrorist attack. Our government just uses it to take away more rights of the people. Our constitution means nothing to this administration. Look at the patriot act, and look at all the corruption our country faces. We pay double for the price of gasoline, and Bush has set our country back 20 years. Solar energy needs to be more widely available. Oil companies mean more to him than his own people of the Country he is supposed to lead. He has divided our country when he should be Uniting . That is why we have a constitution and it is called the United States of America.

Terrorists take away our rights through threats.
We have the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
How do you excersize that right when you are afraid to go to the mall because it would be blown up...or a football game?
What about the government having to control our rights even more by trying to protect us from the threats....

Do you forget how the two snipers picking off people in the D.C. area intimidated the public. High School football games were canceled, people were afraid to go outdoors.
Suppose they started blowing up restaurants, buses, trains, cars and buildings in your town like they do in Israel.
Do you think that might curb your freedom?
Do you think that is impossible to happen?
Have you not understood why it is called terror? They terrorize to intimidate so they can take control of your life, your freedom.

by constantly threatening to KILL us every time they open their mouths... When they are mobbing in streets all over the middle east.. Shouting and ranting, death to America and death to Britain and death to Israel, ect, ect, ect, isnt that enough EVIDENCE ??
