i agree with most people here.stud is better, i have the same thing because hoops always gets caught with my brush...and it hurts!

I would def get a stud first because you have to twist your earring everyday..so it won't get infected...and you can't really do that with a hoop.

Hey gurl i like that cause i have mine periced and from a womans point of view i think u should go with the hoop trust me. Men and Women like mine what can i say i LOVE it.

I wear a stud because I kept catching my hoop with my brush...OUCH!!

u could get either one, because after all it`s possible to change it out later, after it has healed...
