I am WAY to young to look for colleges, but what are good colleges for journalism or medical school? (I'm more interested in journalism)

It depends on where you are located. Just about any of the top-tier colleges in the US are good for journalism, including the Ivy League schools and most of the larger state universities. American University in Washington, DC, has an excellent graduate program in journalism.

If you want to be more TV journalism based, then think about Syracuse University, NYU, UCLA or University of Southern California. Again, most of the big state universities can do a fine job there. If you're in Indiana (for example), go to IUPUI or IU. That way, you get a fine program and in-state tuition.

Good luck! I'm a freelance journalist, so I know a little about the subject.

Just look up the US News rankings for med school.

US News ranks med schools. However, since you say you're young, just concentrate on the undergrad rankings. Go to the best one you can, because you look better to med schools the higher your undergrad is. For example, Princeton is currently the top ranked undergrad. It's a fine school and if you've got the grades, med schools will feel you can handle the rigor of medical school because you were sufficiently challenged academically at Princeton. It doesn't matter that Princeton doesn't have a med school.

Med school and undergrad are separate.
