has anyone ever taken one? Do I need a passport? any suggestions will be apreciated...thanks

I am guessing you probably live in the Northeast, which is why you ask about New York to Florida ... but if you ever get to the other coast, and want to try a cruise, an Alaskan Cruise from WA st to Alaska would be awesome!

You won't necessarily need a passport, but it is a lot easier to travel anymore with one.
As far as your cruise request, check all the major cruise lines, I know Holland America does New York to Fl, and southern Caribbean Cruise.
