Yes, I would check again or just wait and see what happens. It could have been too early. I just answered a couple of questions like yours. I had a near normal period with my first son.

If I were in your position I would test again if your period doesn't come the day you expect it. It is possible you have an anovulatory cycle. Also, stop wasting money on the expensive tests--the ones from the dollar store are just as good and sometimes better. Take a look at this website--www.peeonastick.com
All pg tests are regulated by the FDA so they are all the same--just the expensive ones have prettier packaging, more advertising, and bigger companies making them. Also, all pg tests do not detect the same amount of pregnancy hormone-hcg-so be sure when you are testing before your period is due that you are using a very sensitive test--25 iu or less. www.peeonastick.com has all the different tests, their sensitivities, and women's opinions.

Alas someone in the same boat as me!! Except I am not regular but did experienced strange bleeding when I wasn't meant to which was a week before my shortest cycle!

I still hav'nt had my period and am going to have some tests in a month.

However if I were you I would wait until next month when you are next supposed to be on, then test. Reason for this is because that you are normally regular, and you know your body.

Also if you don't come on when you are due next, wait a week, then go to the doctors, they should then run you through some tests.

I know it's hard but don't worry too much about it and wait, it could make it worse.

you can go to family dollar and pick up a test there for around 4 dollars and some change they are cheap but they work good I used them with all three of my pregnancies they pick up the hcg level when it is 50 or above i was two days late for my period and it picked it up for me,also if you went to the DR. right after you had this bleeding it could have been implantation bleeding which if it was it may have been to early to pick it up on a pregnancy test but blood test usually picks up your hcg level very early any thing above a 5 is positive here some info on implantation bleeding
What does implantation bleeding or spotting look like?
Implantation bleeding, also called implantation spotting, does not look like a regular menstrual period. Implantation bleeding is scanty and usually pink or brownish discharge.

Implantation bleeding or menstrual period?
Implantation bleeding normally occurs a week to a few days before your period would normally start. Spotting that occurs around a week after ovulation is likely implantation bleeding; whereas, spotting that occurs very close to the time that your period would normally start may not be. A normal menstrual cycle generally starts off light and then gets heavier. Spotting can sometimes be the sign of an early period. If this is the case, the spotting will pick up to heavier bleeding. If you have spotting right around the time your period would normally start, it can be more confusing. You will need to take the wait and see approach or take a pregnancy test to determine pregnancy.

What if I feel like my period is about to start?
If you have had spotting and think it might be implantation bleeding you may be paying very close attention to your body. If you are trying to get pregnant, the good news is that early pregnancy symptoms feel very similar to the start of your period. If you are pregnant you may begin to notice symptoms of early pregnancy right around the time your period would normally start and sometimes sooner than that. If you suspect pregnancy you can test for pregnancy as early as ten days after ovulation.

How common is implantation bleeding?
Implantation bleeding is fairly common with pregnancy. Twenty to thirty percent of women will have spotting during early pregnancy. If you have some light spotting before your period would normally start this is not something to worry about and may be a sign of pregnancy.
