I actually am a liberal, but thought I would post this on here as this is the only day I have been on here that this asinine question hasn't been asked by now.

Liberals are not doing any of those things.. and if you were a true liberal you would know that.

I'll only answer with a few quotes from Dwight Eisenhower, once famous Republican General & President-maybe the Republicans will enjoy these. How they've changed.

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.

April 16, 1953

A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both.
Dwight D. Eisenhower, Inaugural Address, January 20, 1953

I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote peace than our governments. Indeed, I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it.

I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity.

It is consistent with their nature. Liberals acted the same way during the cold war. They sought peaceful coexistence, dialog with the enemy, appeasement and understanding. Liberals always asked "what is it about the US that makes others hate us". They would never think that perhaps there is evil in the world, that would fly in the face of their multi-cultural fantasies about a world of one people prevented from unity by evil republicans. They are like the guy who's girl dumps him but continues to insist they are still in love
