Nope companies have the right to set appearance and dress code that may exclude a mustache. Unless the facial hair is for religious purposes employment can in fact be denied.

No...an employer has the right to choose whoever he wants to employ for whatever reason except discrimination of a protected class.

Facial hair does not fall into a protected class...so they can tell you to shave or refuse to hire you.

Depends on the job. If you're applying to be Peter Pan at an amusement park, I'm guessing they'd have a no mustache clause...but if it's to work at Burger King, I don't think they can do that...

It depends on what type of position you are applying for. Some companies have specific dress codes that they expect their employees to adhere to.

Only if that mustache would interfere with job performance. i don't think a mustache would come under dress code rules.
