Well the consensus is Florida and I agree for three simple reasons.
First off the experience factor. All year Florida has played with the chip on their shoulder that they might repeat and that wears on a team. They haven't let it get in the way.
Second they have the mental edge. They've been here before and not only that they demolished OSU this year so they know they can beat OSU whenever they want. Now granted since that game a lot has changed for both teams and Florida was at home but the edge still goes to Florida.
Finally Florida simply has better players. Corey Brewer is the creator and as good as Conley is Brewer just has a uncanny court sense that Conley is still getting. Oden has about zero offensive talent but is a great defender, unfortunately he ususally gets into early foul trouble. Horford and Noah anchor a solid inside presence while Green and Humphrey round out the the backcourt. OSU has a strong starting cast to back up Oden and Conley with Cook, Butler and Lewis but they simply don't have the playing edge Florida's team has.
So with all these things in mind Florida is the consensus. And for all of you who say this game will be a blowout, get real, this game will not be a blowout and Florida will join a prestigious club of schools to repeat in college basketball.

FLORIDA WILL WIN!!! however remember florida being underdogs to a heavy favorite ohio state at the 50 yrd line for the ncaa football championship. now what if the tables turn and heavy favorite florida loses to ohio state and they take vengance for what happened in the bowl game. but when i think about it greg oden has not had a power game yet or what is expected of him and heavy favorite florida playing the best ball. i dont know what you guys think. i know the school that made gatorade should take it. but its also becoming a new rivalry huh. FLORIDA 78 Ohio State 63 my prediction.

Greg oden wont be a factor in the game. but ohio will still win. their back court matches up well with floridas for the better. it will be a close game, ohio has been in many of those in the tournament, and have come out on top, they may have young players in age, but they sure dont play young.

Ohio 68 florida 66
