As to the needs, the world is very uneven when it comes to almost everything: disposable incomes, wages, property rights, availability of land, etc. MNCs take advantage of this by placing labor-intensive operations at low-wage locations, selling their products primarily in high-income locations, placing substantial capital investments where property rights are well protected, etc.

Generally speaking, the scope is quite expansive in he regulatory sectors of the MNC. Although recent legislation has derived some good from tightenting the reigns and brining some sense of normalcy to it.
