Definitely MAC! It is worth every penny. You will spend so much money trying to correctly match your skin with covergirl because you can't try it on in the store. Whereas with Mac you can go to the counter and sample all day long. Plus it doesn't break my skin out, it is lightweight, and it doesn't sweat off like covergirl did.

MAC produces better products than covergirl... just look where you can get the product... MAC is available in department stores, while covergirl is available at the grocery.

they both suck. covergirl never has the right match for skintones and MAC seems to make everyone breakout. Its studio makeup so its very heavy and it clogs pores.

You would want to go with MAC because they have fierce and subtle looks so whichever you feel like going, they have millions of colors in their array of shades. Also, you can go to the Make Up counter and personalize your skin tone to your foundation so that you don't get the uneven color streak near your neckline. My experience with cover girl is that much of their foundations or powders have a pink undertone which makes it look very unnatural whereas MAC has many settings of foundations that have yellow natural undertones. 85% of women have yellow undertones in their skin so it's easier to make it look natural with MAC make up. You can compare a studio fix to their powder foundation and see there's a big difference. MAC is easy to apply, and you can make sure your make up won't fade within hours and you only need to put on a little at time. Their colors can be vivid and stylish.

My skin is very sensitive and to be honest, my skin didn't like generic store make up like it did to MAC. I noticed my skin wasn't as oily when I used a studio fix and I rarely had to touch it up at all.
