The Hells Angels are all over the UK and they dwarf any of the other clubs in numbers, style, severity and reputation. Go to the Bulldog Bash in August and party with the righteous. But keep a safe distance, and don't upset them.

Do you seriously want to be a 1%er? It's a world of drug running, gun running and wife beating, not to mention homicidal violence to anyone who crosses you. In other words... total scumbags only. Read William McQueen's book "Under and alone" and ask yourself if you really want to be a part of that world. As another poster said, there's a lot of fun and fellowship in the biker world... why would you want to hang out with the absolute dregs of the dregs?
PS: I'm assuming you know what "1%er" means... it's specifically related to outlaw biker gangs... not all patch MCs are necessarily 1%ers...

To join a proper MC be prepared to give up anything and everything to get that membership. Everything takes second place - family, work, mates. None of these matter: the club is first & foremost. With this in mind perhaps you can understand why an MC member is so sure of himself. You don't ask to join - they ask you (if they think you are worth it...).

You ask which is best, best for what, not getting you killed, not ending up in jail, not turning you into an A--hole. I have a cousin, he wanted to be a bike club member, now he has no wife, lost his house, always bumming money for drugs, sound like fun? There are many many worthwhile clubs and other bike activities to participate in don't waste your time trying to be badass.
