The part where Jamie Lee Curtis told her boyfriend who Michael Myers was, which she said was her brother. How is he her brother? I have seen the other Halloweens and I don't remember him being her brother. What did I miss?

You missed that she is his younger sister and the only family member to have survived--adopted by the Strode family right after the massacre.

From what l remember, she went into hiding to escape her psychotic brother.
