What was your ambition as a child? How did it turn out?

I had many different aspirations growing up. When I was a lot younger I wanted to be a Race Car driver, throughout my junior High and High school years I wanted to be a chef, then my college years I wanted to be a writer.
Now I am a contract analyst for the state of California which is pretty much not close to any of my younger career aspirations.
However, I do race go karts on weekends, and I do write as a hobby in my free time. So even though I did not become a professional race driver nor a professional author, I still do "follow" some of those dreams, just not as a living.
As far as the chef thing goes, well I can make toast ;-)

I had a bunch of ambitions but the first I can remember is a vet because I loved animals, what a bummer! As soon as I realized that part of the job was putting the animals down I kind of swayed off of it. Now I want to travel the world by being an animal researcher or an actress. It's a little sucky that my mum hates animals but I'll keep dreaming because it isn't wether you win or lose it's how you played the game!

I'm still a child now. I'm seventeen years old. My dream is to become an Author. I love writing and it's what I want to do with my life. How did it turn out? I'm not sure, yet. But I plan on doing whatever it takes to make my dream become reality. We'll just have to wait and see.

As a kid (younger that I am now); I wanted to become a vet. I loved, and still love, animals. But that's not for me. I don't think I could ever put an animal "down" without crying. =\

When I was in the 4th grade, I taught my younger sister how to multiply. She thought it was a fun game.

I used to be a college instructor, but it didn't pay very much.

Right now, I work as a clerk in an office and am constantly finding myself teaching my co-workers how to work their computers.
