If you have no other health issues relating to your urinary tract, may I suggest taking a teaspoon of cider vinegar first thing in a.m. Just block your nose and down the hatch. It's a natural diuretic and will have you shedding that excess water in no time. Again, I stress that you have no other problems with bladder, kidneys, etc.; as they will get a workout with this solution. As soon as you no longer feel bloated, quit the vinegar. Good luck and God bless.

Hi there, I am just a little bit older than you and have had problems with fluid retention also. The docs gave me fluid meds, but that really did not seem to help much. I recently changed my eating habits and within a few days the fluid problem was completely gone. I switched from salt/sodium products to "No Salt", quit eating out, and stopped drinking any drink products with carbonated water/sodium content. Even though we do not realize we are eating salt, there is way more in the average diet than our body can handle. Read the labels & know what you are eating/drinking. I was very surprised.

God Bless you for taking action to get yourself healthy. The water retention is probably caused by too much salt. Try to eliminate it. If this continues, you need to see a Dr. because other things can cause fluid retention.

I am not a doctor but I think you need to get your urine and blood tested ok ... you need to make sure your kidneys and liver are working properly. My mom was on vitamin k to deal with her water retention for years only to find out later that she had issues with her liver - so please get yourself checked... while I'm not a fan of jenny craig's (I couldn't do it with that food ekkkkk) I admire that you were able to stick with it and lose so much weight - now just make sure your organs are ok after it ok?! good luck-
