Those are British hostages. The Brits should send in their SAS for a rescue, if they have any idea where the hostages are.
They probably don't, though. In that case they're reduced to grovelling to the thugs over there to get their people back.
Wouldn't have happened if they'd resisted in the first place. Clearly the Brits are a bunch of *meow meow*.

I would stay out of it for once. GB are not children and they rather negotiate than attack a country over 15 in the service.
Iran has never had a penchant for harming anyone they take captive or hold Hostage, like our embassy. They go to great lengths to protect them, so I think GB should handle their own issues, and Bush should take his finger off the nukes, especially if he is drunk! I saw a speech just yesterday and I swear he was slurring his words! Maybe he just has wet brain!

I've been pushing for Jimmy Carter to take control of the situation.
Amazing how many people are taking Iran's side in this.

I would surround Iran and tell them that each day that passes the cordin will draw in closer until they are released. If China and Russia interferes I would tell them to shut the hell up or they will have their trade seriously impaired.

All Britain has to do is admit they were in Iran waters an the hostages go free. I think they should admit it. Britain is only trying to incite a war.

Nothing should be done that could interfere with the British and Iranian negotiations for the safety of the sailors sake.

Exactly what the British are doing--try to find a diplomatic solution. Using force is a last resort.

I think I'd suck it up and apologize for invading their part of the ocean (even if we didn't) and negotiate a release. I'd take the high road. Right after that I'd airlift food and supplies all over Iran to win over the people. And then when the time was right, I'd waste that SOB!

I think Britain and Iran should work it out between themselves, and everybody else (are you listening, President Bush?) should keep there noses out of it.
