If you are talking about WTC7 then No, that is impossible. That fire from jet fuel could destroy the steel superstructure in just a few hours enough to cause the complete collapse.

I watched it do so. I know a bit about explosives and there was none. Explosives blow out even shaped charges and there were no blow outs at the WTC. It simply collapsed straight down.

If you are referring to the WTC towers, they didn't collapse at free fall speed. The debris on the outside of the towers fell at a much faster speed then the towers did....
