A good teacher is someone who is fully prepared for whatever a class may throw at them and this includes admitting to students when they don't know everything. It includes showing a humanistic side with understanding and pliability. Being able to adapt with times is what truly makes a good teacher, you should be able to incorporate technology without leaving behind the important elements of lessons from the past. Its really finding a happy medium to bridge a time gap.

Hi,
A good teacher can capture the imagination of his/her students and help them to reach for their personal best! A great teacher adores his/her students and wants to help them to become the best people they can be. Let's face it, the jobs that they will have in the future have probably not been created yet. I think back to when I was a kid. There was no Internet, cable, etc..... Care about "your" kids, teach them to think for themselves, and you'll be a great teacher!

i think a good teacher should obviously be knowledgable about the subject he/she is teaching; have a sense of humor about them; be fair & non judgmental; be well-prepared for class but also be flexible to accomodate different situations/questions that arise in the classroom; be spontaneous; & also be willing to increase their knowledge by always striving to learn more by attending workshops, training courses, self-study, as well as learning from their own mistakes & even from their own students!!!
