"Top Contributor" it said and I tried it out
It was useless
So I thought to return it
But the damn thing wouldn't
Fit back in the box !!!

Answer a lot of questions in just one category and, yes, you, too can be burdened with a "top contributor" sign. I didn't get the ugly orange "top contributor" badge until I hit level 6 because I tended to answer in many categories and only recently, as part of my strategy to make it to level 6, started concentrating on a couple of categories. Suddenly, poof! I had the badge!
Now, as I work towards the magic Level 7, I see some askers actually discriminate against the badge and prefer to give the "best answer award" to non-TC's on the theory, possibly, that they need the points worse that we do.
Yes, despite the discrimination, may covet the orange badge! I saw one woman with just 1,000 points had a "top contributor" badge but, looking at her answers, yeah, she'd answered almost all of her questions from one particular category. You can do it, too! Just remember, though, you have to KEEP ANSWERING those questions or you can lose the badge. I've seen people complaining because they lost their badge but they must not have kept answering.
Now, excuse me, I must be going and answering even more and more questions so I can get to magic Level 7!

It looks like you were able to return it after all. I don't see it on your profile page.
I ordered mine 4 months ago. It took a long time to get here but I've been wearing it for a month now and I like the way it looks on me. It fits a little loose, but I like my TCs a bit baggy. It just means there is room for improvement, and I can add some more material to it as I go along.
I like the style, I like the color.............I'm not sending it back unless it's recalled.

I hang mine out the window. It keeps the rain off my head. Have you tried putting it into the trash compactor?

I didn't order mine...they just sent it to me without me ordering it first....kind of like when you sign up for cd clubs and they send you the cd of the month whether you want it or not, and then expect you to pay for it....well I'm not paying for this one. They'll have to come repo it themselves if they want it back.
It's not even the right color. Screw that.
