Find five different newspapers with different ideological newspapers. Maybe find papers from other regions of the world such as Europe or the Middle East and read the headlines and skim the stories on the front pages of each every day, or not every day, at least every few days

BBC News on radio is excellent. In addition to their clear headed reporting, they also do a segment every couple days interviewing a reporter from some other country about the stories being reported that day in his country.
