That's the whole point... no one with a brain think the Brits owe anyone an apology. This is Iran's way of stirring the pot and trying to make the west look bad.

Understand that the government of the US and British often order soldiers into hostile waters and into hostile territory on fact finding missions and for covert actions. I wouldn't put it past either the US or British to lie about violating Iranian waters on spy missions -- But, since I wasn't there, I don't truly know the facts in this case. I do believe that GWB wants to expand the war into Iran but he can't justify war so he has to have Britain lay the ground work so that we will be forced to support the British. It's pretty damned stupid and shallow and really ridiculous that either government would be willing to sacrifice our soldiers to such subversive tactics for the glorification and evil personal vendettas of George W. Bush and his cronies.

This issue is a big misunderstanding. The issue happened because there is no agreed upon borders, and there are no visible borders on water. This is an accident waiting to happen, and well, it happened. It could easily be dealt with using diplomacy, and not trying to get all huffed up. Getting huffed up could get us all into trouble, including the sailors.

The Iranians are deliberatly starting trouble - I think they're testing the left to see how far they (Iran) can go.

I don't hear anyone saying they should, except the Iranians, so perhaps you should call them and ask.
