I'm thinking of this kind of pump http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cpe100tf-1in-booster-pump-cw-24ltr-tank/path/booster-centrifugal-pumps/brand/clarke

Aside from a non return valve, is there anything else I need to put on the tap?

I want increased water pressure, but not to the extent of a pressure washer.

Thanks

You can also decrease the size of your pipe and hose to increase the output pressure.

Hi,
I notice that Machine Mart don't give the following information, Re: constant pressure i.e, stored water, low pressure./ Or mains pressure,i.e, high pressure, that is not constant and has pressure variants. So I would check with the pump manufactures, the manufactures will tell you if the pump will work on, mains or low pressure.
Be Safe, Skew.

As long as the pump discharge volume does not
significantly exceed the incoming volume, you should
be fine...
