Since you have had two misscarriage i wojuld cehck with your doctor. If you are "normal" pregnancy and not "high risk" than sex should be fine up until the end of your pregnancy(sperm at that time could cause early labor). However, right now sex is fine if you are not having any pregnancy complications. You know your body best, if you feel its best not to have sex then dont do it! Good Luck :-]

I am in the same position as you are! i have been pregnant before and had sex all the 9 months and nothing bad ever happened and had a baby boy! full term! but i am pregnant again and like around 6 weeks when i had intercourse with my husband like 1 day after i started spotting very lightly! and i totally freaked out seriously i had to go to the hospital and they told me everything was fine! But to not have sex for two weeks! and it's been two weeks already but i am not planning to have sex any day soon because i am scared to death that it might happen again! i know it may be hard or maybe even unfair to your husbad! But if you have had 2 miscarriages before just wait after your first trimester or just talk it over with your doctor! i know it's hard for my husbad to hold off but i rather be safe than sorry! so when you think that you are the only one going thru this just think that i am going to do the same thing!! well hopefully this helped!
Good Luck and Congratz!
*** Also i forgot to meantion my e.r. doctor did tell me that sex can cause a miscarriage!!! but doctors can be wrong!

Miscarriages during the first trimester are usually caused by unknown problems in the development of the fetus. These are things that you cannot do anything about. I highly doubt that having sex caused the miscarriages, so you should have nothing to worry about. If you want to wait, that is up to you and your husband. And Congratulations!!!

Thats actually odd that you did have the miscarriage the other two times. If having sex seems to be the culprit, then leave well enough alone this time around. It could be that having your hormones go into overload during sex may be the problem - so it may not even be safe to play around with alternatives.

Miscarriages aren't a cause of sex. Anything could have cause it, but sex during pregnacy is beneficial for you. Sex help open you up and when it's time for you to the baby it won't hurt as much. Now rough sex can harm the baby. Nice and easy sex will not harm the baby at all.

Check with your doctor. I don't believe that miscarriages are caused by having sex though. If you don't have a dr.'s appt. for a while, just make a call to the office and request for the nurse to call you back and ask them...I am sure they get this question frequently. I hope that this pregnancy goes smoothly for you.

Safe is completely safe during pregnancy... and cannot harm the baby in any way. If you are having complications... ask your OB whether it's safe for you or not though. Sex actually feels the best during your second trimester.

You should ask your doctor to be sure, but if you have a "gut" feeling that you should or should not do something, you might want to listen to your instincts. Its a small sacrifice in the scheme of things. Later in the pregnancy when you start hearing and seeing your baby, you will probably feel better about doing more.

I don't think sex causes miscarriage. I had one and then my other two pregnancies went good, sex and all. I understand your fear, but doubt that normal sex would not interfere with the baby.
