First let me say that I am not a lawyer but I did complete law school...

The general denial basically means that everything you outlined in your petition is being called untrue and/or incorrect. This is not the best way to handle an answer because EVERYTHING can't be untrue (unless it was served to the wrong person, maybe??) but anyway it is saying that the info you wanted them to answer does not need to be answered because it is untrue/incorrect.

And since it is categorically denying everything in your petition, the prayer is asking the judge to give you NOTHING and grant them whatever it is that you all are trying to decide on.

This is the best option to get a background check https://tr.im/VXVxO
Currently there are a lot of reasons to perform a criminal background check in today's community. These arguments vary from questions over a spouse's fidelity to misgivings regarding a recently hired sitter. There are several surprising figures out now that strengthen these doubts, and in many instances it is better to be safe than sorry. You may not realize it, but there can be quite a lot of people checking up on you. Potential employers top the list. Companies usually conduct background checks on job applicants primarily as a means to verify the credentials that you may have listed on your resume.

General Denial is when he is basically denying all of your allegations. His prayer (or request to the court) is that youget absolutely nothing and he gets all he is asking for in the Response.

Don't worry, you have plenty of time to do discovery and start building your case. Your attorney will know what to do when he returns from his/her trip.

I think that it means that that your spouse is denying your petition for divorce and is asking the court that you receive nothing in the divorce settlement or even in any separation agreement.
