Does the transfer need to be fast or slow, large or small?

If the amount is small then you'll need to watch your transaction fees as they will soon eat into the principal. You could do the transfer direct from NatWest Jersey to HSBC Egypt via SWIFT, but it will cost at least £20 plus possibly other fees on both ends. Also you are probably better to convert to Egyptian Pounds on the UK end as you'll get a better rate and less fees on the Egyptian end.

Another options would be to withdraw the funds by GBP cheque and go to HSBC London and have them do the transfer. It might be cheaper and faster as it'll go through HSBC's internal bank transfer system rather than be routed via SWIFT. Ask them for the best way to suit your circumstances.
