my furnace just recently started to come on alot more then it used to. we had it cleaned recently so i know its all clean
i keep my heat down and we dont use that much hot water but about once or twice a hour the furnace starts running even when the heat is shut off and the thermostat shows the house is 70 degrees and the thurmostst is turned below 60 degrees. please help me, we go thru about 200 gallons of oil every month now but befor even in winter we only used 100 to 120 gallons a month,

Sounds like a bad thermostat. If the house is 70 and the thermostat is set at 60 the furnace should not come on. On most there is no way to adjust them. Replacement is probably the best option.

Check and see if you have a hot water leak. It sounds like your domestic coil is working overtime. If you have a faucet dripping alot on the hot side this will cause the same problem.

the themostat is bad thats the brain of the hole unit
