I do a little but I think I'm a little more punk than the picture allows, and mys hair is more dishevelled.

I think most people make them up so they look better.
I didnt know how to do it so I have a avator that was just there but it looks nothing like me

I think the avatars look like little teenagers - so 'm about 20 years past my avatar, and my hair is a little darker now. And I don't look as animated.

Some do, some don't. All the Yahoo! 360 degrees avatars are of young people and I know there are some fellow oldsters on here. And of course some custom avatars are way out there!

Mine looks a bit like me. My hair sticks up a lot more though, unless I've just had it cut in which case it's much, much shorter than in the pic. They don't have an option for really short hair on girls though!

Not me! I wondered why they are not more realistic.
Example: I am shall we say full figured and a lot older. I look at the Avatar and only dream of days gone by. LOL

Mines quite like me my hair is darker brown and i've got a little side fringe tho. I doubt many are really like theirs.
