No civilization yet has led the world. Many civilizations have dominated their regions, and several powerful civilizations have existed at the same time without knowing about the other.

"Led the world," Rome and Egyptians never ventured pass the Mediterranean. International travel took off with Columbus. Based on my interpretation, the most influential for the longest time since 1500s has to be the United Kingdom. Longest surviving empire has to be Egyptians Old and Middle kingdoms. Chinese "civilization" had forgotten that they invented the compass when Europeans arrived. I do not recognize them as a continuous civilization.

The problem with your question is the word "leading". Of the choces you have given, no. 2 has been in existance the longest. Predating even the Egyptian civilization. However, No. 1 has been the dominating civilization of the west. Also, nos. 3, 4, 5 have played a major part in the western civilization.

Greece and Rome (Byzantine Empire was a combo of the two by the way). Greece, however, influenced Rome heavily.

I would have to say number 1. Especially Greek civilization is the base of the Western ideals as we know them today.

Thats a bit of a tough one to answer, as the ones you have listed have changed over the centuries.
Of those you list, it has to be Islam-Arabian, as "civilisation" is held to have started in the area of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in what is now Iraq.
PS. I've interpreted your question as "a" leading civilisation, rather than "the" leading civilisation, as the latter would be open to a lot of argument.
