My opinion is that children should not have children.
However it happens.
It's very dangerous. In most times the mother or the child will die because those small bodies cannot handle it.
DNA testing is very expensive. Anywhere from $250-700.
I think that teens aren't given proper education about sex and birth control meaning they go into things without a hint of reality.
I blame parents, society and the teens.
parents- seems to me like they don't teach their children properly about anything. they just shove them infront of the tv or internet and figure they'll learn that way- not so!
society- has made it okay for young girls to become a prostitutes and whores. They don't care.
the teens- they should know better. if they want to have sex why dont they wait a few hours and do some research first?
I was an adult, had my own place, a job and money in the bank, on birth control pills and in a very long term relationship before I even thought of having sex.

I believe the parents of the girl are to blame in a big way. I constantly monitor my teenage daughter's activities and talk to her about consequences for her actions on everything she does. This 7th grader has apparently had no supervision or she wouldn't have been able to sleep with one person let alone so many she doesn't know who the daddy is to her baby. She will not be able to raise this child because she has no guidance of her own to learn from.

poor child. am i right that 7th grade is 11/12/13 years old??
either she has been abused sexually, or she has been screwed up in the mind to even think of having sex at all, never mind with several, and if grown men have been having sex with her they need castrating and then torturing.
this girl doesnt need to be bitched about or judged, she needs serious counselling and help. i would advise if it isnt too late, an abortion, as giving birth at her age will probably cause huge damage to her internal organs and god knows what else. then she needs to be advised to have the coil fitted if she insistes on still having sex whilst she has counselling.
she needs a caring, nurturing, understanding home, and i realise this may not necessarily be her parents home, as they seem to have failed her so far.
she needs huge amounts of love, hugs and support, and many many talks about self esteem, self-confidence, self-love.
i hope she gets all this. if i knew her i'd trying to get her under my wing and to make her see what life is really like.
again, as i said, poor child
i wish her all the very best

Well that's nice to say. If she was responsible enough to lay down and have sex then she is responsible enough to give birth and raise that baby. It's a shame in the USA that you can't make 13 year olds get married. Then there would be no single teen moms.

I think she is very troubled if by the time she is in 7th grade she has had sex at all, let alone with several partners. She may have been a victim of sexual abuse for her to be acting this way. Her poor baby needs to be given up for adoption, to a couple who has the maturity, along with the financial means to support him/her. This little girl needs some counseling.

I was a teen mom by choice twice and now have two wonderful children I have raised on my own and am doing very well off its not all as bad as they make it out to be. It happens and if the person is responsible the child can still have a full life

Well, whoever you are to her, you should be downing her like that. She has made mistakes, obviously. Someone needs to counsel this girl in the right direction. I say, at this point, it is too late to belittle her about her decisions. She needs to figure out if she will keep the baby or give it up for adoption or other alternatives. Thereafter, she needs to really be educated about sex.

Depends on the situation, I sympathise with a teenager who had sex, used protection, but it failed. But I do not with someone who was a teen and desided to have bare sex and thought pulling out was an effective method.
It gives ALL teenagers a bad name. Not all of us are stupid enough to have sex without protection. But no one seems to get that.
And to the TWENTY year old who calls a fifteen year old a "child". Five years ago aint that long sweety;)

if they are mature enough and believe they can handle it, then more power to them.
i would never give birth so young (i'm only 15 and don't plan on becoming a parents any time soon) but some people feel differently about this.
it depends on the person, but it's their decision and you probably won't be able to talk them out of it if they're already set on it.

I'd say unless whoever is taking care of her is willing to care for another baby, she should have an abortion or give it up for adoption.
there is no way a girl that young could take care of a baby by herself.
