Believe it or not I was in a club Saturday that had a teenage band that played a couple of Johnny Cash songs. I was really surprised but the crowd loved it. Of course this was in alabama. But the young people in Alabama mostly listen to modern rock today but they seemed to really enjoy the old songs the band played.

Yes very much so. The old songs and singers are the best for relaxing. I love the classic singers like Bob Wills and Johnny Cash and Tex Ritter. They are the ones that I grew up with.

Was JC that first lit my interest on country music with his crossover hit," ballad of a teenage queen" around the late 50's. Jerry Lee,as well as being a class country singer, was arguably one of the best Rockers of the R&R era

Love Johnny Cash/June Cash-Carter. My favorite is Ring of Fire, and his rendition of Hurt by NIN. I even have my 10 year old son singing Ring of Fire. Love that man in black.
