Please don't name your girl Stormy. I'm aware that whatever your name, growing up, someone is bound to make fun of you no matter what, even if your name is plain "Jennifer" but kids grow into there names whether they like it or not and Stormy sounds like trouble. People will expect her to be that way, and her personality will inevitably be that way. It will irritate her for the rest of her life. Believe me, from personal experience -- it's not fun at all having a strange name. But also, I guess the grass is greener on the other side. I always wanted a normal name. And my friend, Debbie, always wanted a more unique name. Just a tip. You don't have to take my advice for it.

For Jack... well, I can only suggest choosing a name with 3 syllables so it flows with such a short first name. For instance, "Jack Anthony" sounds better as opposed to "Jack Tony" -- just another thought. Hope this helps.

Please think twice about naming a child Stormy. She will have to answer questions for the rest of their life, and she will be subject to teasing in school. Think about your child, rather than what sounds good to you.

As for a boy's name, try to pair it with the name of a male relative (assuming you have a good relationship with them). That's the best way I can think of to honor your family history.
