SOLID is not good,That's near Constipation---Runny,thin as water is no good either---Soft as a roap of Oatmeal is more Normal---If Your Doctor says "it's fine" and you are still Upset about this, then by all means GET A SECOND Opinion---You HAVE that RIGHT---If you are in a community where he is all you have Available to you, then Have the MEDICAL AUTHORITIES REVIEW HIS CONDUCT in the Matter---This is your RIGHT ALSO---Do Something about this NOW---Because Diarrea Robs the Body of Valuable Electrolytes---He COULD get Very sick if it it not Stopped---I'VE Been in Medicine for 50 YEARS---2/3 rds of my LIFE---Good Luck---Signed---JEM

I would get a second opinion. His poo should be solid at this point. It is most likely a food allergy, and you will have to do some journal-keeping to figure out what food it is.

I agree that it doesn't sound normal. Children usually have formed feces as early as a few months. I would consult another pediatrician for advice. Good luck.

Bring him to your local nursing home and watch how they take care of the elderly with the same problem.
