Area 52 could mean the following:
* Stargate Command - the canon codename was Area 52.
* The Top Secret United States government facility similar to Area 51 in the movie Looney Tunes: Back in Action, where it is revealed that Area 51 is just a cover up for Area 52, the real secret military base where monsters and aliens are stored.
* In World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade expansion pack, there is a neutral city in Netherstorm in the Outland called Area 52.
* In UFO: Aftermath, it is the second secret facility (after Area 51) for dealing with aliens located in Russia

Yes it really exists... but it's known as Area 51
This article is about the U.S. Air Force installation in Nevada.
51 (officially known as Air Force Flight Test Center, Detachment 3 and also known as Dreamland, Watertown Strip, Paradise Ranch, The Box, Groom Lake, Neverland, and other names) is a remote tract of land in the southwestern portion of Lincoln County in southern Nevada, located at 37.239° N 115.816° W, at the southern edge of a large dry salt flat called Groom Lake. It lies within the Nevada Test and Training Range and is owned by the United States Department of Defense and the United States Air Force. Area 51 contains an airfield whose primary purpose is believed to be the operation and analysis of enemy aircraft and weapons systems, and secret development and testing of new military aircraft. Area 51 is the frequent subject of UFO conspiracy theories.

Well, I don't know about areas 51, 52, and 53, but I know of a place that used to be called Studio 54. Many people used to go there on weekends to try to get themselves into outer space. Some claim to have succeeded.
