The real question here is do you think you've slept with too many people. Also, it might be important to know at what age you started having sex, because if this was all in the last three years or less, then I'd say it may be a bit much. I know some people that have slept with over 50 partners and brag about it (yes its a guy!) But its a double standard in our society. Guys that sleep around are considered gods while girls do it and are tramps. As long as youre safe each time and you are emotionally happy, then have fun.

I think anything over 10 for someone 27 is too high. and ten would be leaning on the high side. The best number for someone 27 would be maybe 4 people?

Anything higher than one is too dangerous these days with HIV/AIDS and other STDs around.
The more people you sleep with, the higher your chances are of getting an STD. Guys lie and they don't always know they have something. Some STDs have no symptoms. You're playing Russian Roulette with your life.
I'm 44 years old. Married 12 years.
Have been with four guys in past before married (counting my husband).
Now have HPV from one of them.

I don't think you can have a definitive number that is too high. It's all about how you went about the sex, if you were in somewhat committed relationships with most of the people you had sex your number is fine. But if a woman is having random sex all over the place, then her number is a slutty high.
It's not about how many you do, it's about how you go about it.
