Well I Agree about the Oscar Wilde part yea he is great...well I guess Understanding and Love are two separate things u cant compare to each other cause to understand someone doesn't mean love you can understand your friends your family you can understand anyone in this world but to be loved and we are here talking about REAL Love that can only happen with only one person in this world....may be you will meet him/her someday may be you wont who knows but when you meet him/her you will know that he/she is the one...what will you do if you didn't meet him/her...its up to you to keep looking all of your life or choose the best from all you knew and met...that's your choice to take....you just need to believe...

I'm a woman and I'm fairly straight forward (most of the time!). It's true that some women are difficult to understand but I don't think it is impossible. But I think that men can be just as complex as women if not moreso, they think they have to be macho and they can't talk about 'feelings' which can make things very hard! (Yes, Oscar is great!)

If someone can understand what love is, and formulise a potion for falling in love whenever and whosoever with we like, then I think we should also attempt to understand women so that we may like them more, or be liked by them more, if this means the same. But if can do not know what love is until we actually fall in love then the right approach to women would not be through understanding, but also certainly not through a sheer lack of it.

for me i think it's true because women are really hard to understand. being a woman myself, I sometimes really don't know what I really want, rationally. It comes by instinct. so unless men have this extra 6th sense of predicting women's instinct, then don't try to understand women at all. Showering them with sincere and truthful love is more than enough.
