cc is not directly related to hp

Cubic centimeters (cc) refers to the size of the engine. Two engines both 750cc for example might produce very different amounts of horsepower. A small, well-designed and well-tuned engine might produce more HP than a bigger engine of an older design, especially if it has not been well maintained.

No exact answer. C.c.'s are the amount of cubic centremeters a piston displaces on its travel in the engine. It is a common measure of the physical size of the engine. Horsepower is the size of the engine in terms of power, or what it can do. While it is true that bigger engines (more cc's) often produce more power, it is not always so.

The Honda 2000 produces a lot of horsepower from a small displacement engine

Everybody is right. CC's do not relate directly to horspower. At REAL SMALL displacements say in the 50cc range, motorcycles still produce 3 or more HP. (50cc is the smallest I've ever heard for a motorcycle) A stock Honda xr50 for example makes about 5 hp stock. A racing 50cc can make 7 or more.
To get only 1 HP you could get you a horse. hahah Or a lil bitty moter from a remote control aircraft.

They are related, but not directly affected by each other.

It depends on the engine, not the size. A Honda Civic only has about 60HP per 1000cc, but an F1 engine has over 200HP per liter. The tuning is the difference.

There is no such equation.
Engines of the same displacement (CC's) can have very different horsepower ratings.

I don't think that they are always proportional. Generally an engine with a larger displacement will have more power, but not always
