They arrested some trespassers, nothing more or less.
All the rest is hype.

I think the US and Britain are pushing for a war. Let's facing, whether or not you think British sailors were or were not in Iranian waters, they were close enough that Iran could get ahold of them.
And there is no question that there are US warships hovering off Iranian waters. That is a pretty provocative move.
Give the history of both the US and Britain, it is very likely that they are doing everything they can to push Iran. The US and Britian conspired to get Americans killed leading up to the two World Wars, and Roosevelt did everythign he could to provoke Japan into attacking, so that he could play soldier without appearing to have started it.
The US got to be the nation it is today by being more warlike than the rest of the world. Anyone who know anything about history knows that.

On the contrary the self appointed moral police of the world the U.S. of A and UK are pushing for war. It is very simple - after Iraq and Afghanistan they have to try and subdue Iran and later Syria and they will have all the control over the oil production in the Gulf. Saudi Arabia and other smaller emirates are already in their pockets.

No. It is like we've seen in the past with other countries. They grab people get some propaganda time from it and let them go. It is an old tactic. All countries involved do posturing and harumphing and demanding etc.. Eventually UK will give some sort of diplomatic apology, money or release some unimportant rebels or something and the UK people will be home safe with their families. It is a game countries play.
It is kind of like taking a favorite toy from the big rich kid on the block. Finally you have to give it back but you cause a lot of grief for him and others just because you possess the toy. The main thing is that you were able to teas the big kid, the rich kid where normally you lose in every other way to him.

I think that they are doing the same thing that North Korea did a while back. Trying to look big. I am not sure if the Brits were in the wrong spot...But even if they were, the range on one of the zodiacs is not huge and they, Iran, should just give them back.

No but i think they need to be stepped on. The only way we can win in iraq and ensure a safer world for us and our children is the invasion of Iran. Someone needs to stick up for the U.S and the U.K and say WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!
The only thing those people seem to understand sometimes (not all of them by the way) is violence and they constantly Chant death to America if they want death to us then we can solve that on the battle field and show them the days of the Persian are over and that they are nothing more then some crappy country that has long ago fallen into squalor and not as great as they seem to think.

I think that they are attempting to get more popular support from their citizens, and they are attempting to cause the price of oil to increase , to help stabilize their economy... Inflation is out of control in Iran, because the price of oil is so low. It costs more to get oil out of the ground in Iran, than it does for their neighbors...

Iran is daring Blair for war, yes, but watch bush stick his nose where it doesn't belong, and put many more young American's lives at risk.

You bet because they know that America is divided right now and they suspect that we don't have the stomach for it so they think that they'll have an easy victory. Every time one of our lib legislators stands up and says we need a timetable for withdrawl, it encourages that Members-Only-wearing nutjob who's President of Iran.

Iran knows that no one has the balls to step up anymore. It wouldn't be "politically correct". We'll talk and that's about it.
