Regardless of age or one's feelings of invincibility, life will be over very soon. It can easily be today, tomorrow, or next week; and even if it may be 50 years from now, that time will seem like only a few blurred moments when one reflects back on it.
My favorite time pass is not wasting any of whatever I have left by using every waking minute in learning something new, doing something constructive, enjoying what's around me, exploring new places, experiencing the thrill of staying active, taking on new challenges, being a person I'm proud of, and savoring every sip of life before I suddenly hear the gurgle at the bottom of the cup.

Reading a book about something I'm interested in but want to know more, is entertaining and maybe in a few years I want to read again to see if it is half as good as I thought it was. I could have said being with a beautiful woman but I get tired of the same old, same old answers.
