Sorry about your luck. My family celebrates everyone's birthday, even when there 80. On another note don't be so selfish, why don't you try celebrating it on the day after or something. If I was born on Easter of Christmas or any other religious holiday, I would. I mean God is plenty more important than my measly little birthday. Geez.

Lovely image. My family stopped celebrating my birthday at about age 17. Mine is in December and interferes with everyone's Christmas shopping. I figure now I don't have to get any older if no one celebrates it, right?

My birthday often falls around easter. But I'd say birthdays went downhill about age 13. My grandfather passed away on my birthday that year, and celebrating my birthday was far from important at the time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY....I know its not your birthday but, I wanted to tell you first.
My family still celebrates my birthday, and I'm going to be 29 this year. My mom will still bake me a cake, I till get presents..albiet its more useful stuff now but, who cares. And as tradition stands my mom makes us a birthday meal..our request, last year I had my mom make me chili, and this year I'm leaning toawrds homemade Runza's with brown gravy on them....YUMM.
We do this for all the birthdays in my family which includes my 2 siblings, and now my 3 kids and my 2 nephews...and then of course we have one awaiting his or her debuet.

Truthfully,I can only remember getting 1 cake till I was grown and could make my own. When I was 7, my dad made my sisters and I a cake together. Our B.days are in OCT, NOV,and DEC. So he make a cake in november for all of us. That was it. When I was 21 some friends make me a 21st B.day cake.We were just not important enough to celerbrate I guess. No party,no presents. No --dont think pity. When you dont grow up with it , you think its normal.
