Yes BF Goodridge Tyres Are Ok, But Check How Old They Are, Check For Crackes In Side Walls, If In Any Doubt Pop Into Any Tyre Garage And Ask Them, If Its A Good Garage They Should Be There To Help And Not To Rip You Off

If you want good cornering, go with Nitto, Toyo, or any other big name performance tire, and get wider wheels. You want wheels that are big enough to clear everything, but are as wide as possible, and match sizes in all ways front and rear for rotation abilities. Also, have your car lowered. A low center of gravity, and a large contact patch will allow you to go more than double the posted suggested speed. If it suggests 40 MPH, you could easily do 80 in a car that is completely stock. However, once lowered and given a wider (larger) contact patch, the car could possibly do 100+ around that particular turn, without so much as a wobble or squeel of the tires. But slowly increase your normal rate of speed areound corners you KNOW in order to get a feel for the vehicle's handling abilities. Caution: the lower the stance of the car, the firmer the springs need to be to prevent tire rub, and consequently, the rougher the ride when handling bumps and other road conditions.

I've never heard of Goodridge Tyres. I would get a quality name brand like BF Goodrich tires or Pirelli.
What you have sounds like a cheap knockoff or imposter.

Sounds like you want to go fast! If the tires are in good condition, one is about as good as another. Check the speed rating. The link above shows different speed ratings and MPH for each.

If the tires have plenty of tread on them than use them until they wear down and then find out what was originally put on the car and replace them.

Most of their models are good, yes. They are different though, and you don't list the tire model/size.
