I live in a bizarre fantasy world. No, I don't mean that I play online reality games - I seriously think I have a problem.
I have a good job and am in a happy relationship, but I've always had a fantasy life inside my head, which I can switch on and off at the drop of a hat. I'm 29 and have done this all my life. What is wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong with you.... Each of us have a fantasy life. Some of us with good imaginations possess a richer (if more bizarre) one than others.
Keep in mind, we all live with our consciousness traveling through the dreamscape of our mind. Part of that world is strongly linked through our senses to "reality". However, other parts of this realm are creations of our own making based upon beliefs, thoughts, fantasies, and much of the garbage we carry around in our heads.
The only time this becomes a problem is when we become lost in our minds and begin to believe the bizarre fantasies are "reality".
Unfortunately, most of us are lost to some degree. Most of society live lost in individual dreams that we have created from common ideas and beliefs shared by others.
To para-quote line from a favorite book, "Some times we need to lose our minds and come to our senses."

I don't think there's anything wrong with you. You have a good job and a successful relationship so your fantasy isn't holding you back from accomplishing anything. If it was affecting your work or relationship, then it would be a problem. I think you are doing fine and maybe your fantasy helps you to handle the stresses in life. If it starts to have an adverse affect on your life, then seek help. Until then, continue to be a dreamer and enjoy your accomplishments. Be happy.

Nothing wrong with this at all, escapism is good for you!
I do it myself because my life is hell ost of the time so I go into my little fantasy world. Much more fun!

Don't worry it is normal to fantasise. Its a form of escape from reality no matter how normal your life is. Fantasy is one way of keeping sane.

nothing its a way of escaping most people do it few will admit it its when it stops being fantasy and becomes reality you have issues. enjoy it its a way of coping with stress and boredom i also do this it saves me from strangling my boss ha ha

if you are employed and happy in your relationship as you mentioned then you are ok.everybody has its own bizarre fantasy,an outlet to unload our wildest desires that we cannot attain in the real world.

i dont think there is anything wrong with you. just means you have a great imagination. why not try writing things down and maybe turn it into a book
