My friend and I have been making videos on his video camera and have made them MPG's, I've put some on my memory stick but have run out of Memory. If I was to burn them to a CD could I just use a regular CD-R or would it have to be a DVD?!?

no you can burn most file format to a dvd but if you want to play it on a dvd player it has to be mpeg

you can store an MPG or any other file on a CD when burning to the CD you want to make a data cd this will allow you to use the CD as a storage device.

Look a video movie is a movie in any format. You can burn it onCD-R DVD-R no problem. There are various mpeg formats.

it soley depends on you....

if you want just a cd..use it....

if u want all the data to be in a singlew spcae...

use DVD only if the videos were more rthan 650 mb

no you can put them on a cd if its not over 700 mb
