Fear alone should be motivation enough!

If not............try this
"Plan your work and work your Plan"

1. balance your time of study and play as to when your bedtime is at your home. Let's say you get home by 4 pm and your bedtime is 10 pm. Your schedule could look a little like this and it may work for you as well.

4pm-5pm play what you can and enjoy it
5pm-5:15 pm take a break
5:15pm-6pm Study
6pm-6:30pm Supper
6;30pm-8 pm study
8pm-8:30pm play on computer or break time
8:30-9:50pm Study
9:50pm-10pm prepare for bedtime

Make adjustments that you are comfortable with, use your time efficiently, take breaks so you do not burn out and relax because you will remember more and the studying will not be a drudgery but a joy.

make a schedule, but not the normal way.
i'm assuming you won't be able to keep to one made the normal way, so try this one.

assign 1-2 hours for playing FIRST. most scheduling recommend that you assign blocks for studying first, but that don't work for me.

anyway, assign that 1-2 hours for watching tv, playing, whatever, and then assign half-hour blocks for studying.

from the way you sound, you're probably those who can't keep doing the same thing for a long time? correct me if I'm wrong. but if you are, by assigning half hours blocks, you can keep your mind refreshing for diffent topics, it actually helps because it sorta forces you to remember things.

also, by assigning playtime first, you will subconsciously know that there is time for you to play, so you will be able to concentrate better

hope you understand what i mean, and also hope it helps you.

Motivation.

Being scared of 'below 60' should do the trick. Just keep the consequences in mind and you will do fine.
