Does the graphs card's performance depend on the onboard graphs for e.g

There are 2 boards- one with a powerful graphs card, one with less; all other features are identical.

I put the same graphs card in both the boards, which of them will perform well?

Hi dE,
This question has me confused. Once you put in a graphics card, you need to disable the onboard graphics in the BIOS. Then the speed of your graphics card is limited to the CPU in intense gaming situations. But if you have the same RAM, CPU and hard disk reading times, there should be little difference. However, different motherboards can test out slightly differently but I would be surprised if you could tell the difference. That's why they do intense testing on the sites like Tom's Hardware, etc with many different tests to see what the performance differences are.

no the performance of a graphic card is not dependent on onboard graphics, when you install a graphic card the onboard graphics accelerator get disabled from bios.

both of them will give you same performance because if you have 2 boards one with a powerful graphics cards one with less,
and all features are identical only the difference is in graphic card and you are putting the same graphic card in both board then where is the difference you are filling the difference by adding identical graphic card in both boards.
if there is any difference then it can only be measured in a lab/

Unless there is SLI compatibility (which allows 2 graphic cards to work together) it won't make any difference whatsoever.
