I know that sounds like a silly question, but I only do the baby's laundry about once a week, and by the time the bibs from earlier in the week are washed, they've already got what looks to be mold growing on them..? I end up having to throw them away, but I wasn't sure if there was a way to keep that from happening? I figured submerging them in water would only make the mold problem worse. Has anyone else ever had this problem and what did you do to help solve it? Serious answers only please!
Thanks so much!

Rinse them out with water or better yet, soapy water, and then let them dry before you toss them in the laundry hamper.

I have never heard of such a thing growing on baby bibs, you must not be allowing the bibs to dry before throwing them in to be washed, but I can tell you how to get rid of the midew/mold situation, Just wash your baby's bibs in hot water and one cup of White Vinegar in your washing machine you can throw in your other baby's clothes along with this it won't hurt the baby's clothes nor will it be irritating to your baby's skin, vinegar cleans and disinfects and deodorizes removes mold and mildew stains, however it will not prevent it from coming back, you have to allow your baby's bibs to dry before throwing in the hamper to be washed this is the only way to stop them from mildewing/molding, your baby's bibs and clothes will come out soft and static free and it will remove stains also. Good Luck !

well I could suggest you soak them in water first ,then maybe put them in with the household towels rather than leave them in the laundry basket. Or make a point of washing them every 2-3 days on their own, hang them out in the sun like this any stains that have not been removed the sun will bleach them out the natural way

I wash mine in the dishwasher and let them air dry, or I wash them in the washing machine with vinegar and soap.
