The first place to start is by finding things to do that support your spirit whether you are alone or not. Being your own best friends is important.
Make a list of your favorite things and be sure to do something from the list as often as possible.
Also, think about how you became lonely in the first place.
Are you reaching out to people you know, or staying to yourself?
Do you have email pals, pen pals? If not, maybe you could get some. The Internet can provide much needed friendship and support.
Is there a local club or activity group you could join where you could have good social contact?
Do you have a relative with whom you could discuss your loneliness?
Can you get a pet? They are amazing companions.
Remember when you feel down and lonely that it is a temporary feeling and it will get better. Almost everyone feels the way you do from time to time.

If you can refocus your attention onto someone else for even a little while, it can make a world of difference. Volunteer some of your time at a rest home, or ask at your school's office where else to give your time. The donation of your help by doing light work or visiting can make a number of other people so happy and uplifted. In the end, you enrich yourself, and personal loneliness gets a new perspective.

Easy, the one solution is to interact with your Pc. We have the msn facilities, so enjoy.
On humanistic ground making friends overcome lonliness. Get out of your world, intergrate yourself with your friends. Mingle with them by sharing jokes, having lunch together... At first you will feel uncomfortable but with times everything will be ok.

Ofcourse, look for company. Try and find work at a place where interaction with people is required.
Try and attempt social work. It is not difficult at all. The first approach can also bear fruits. Relegious places are also a good avenue to find company.

well at least you have communications such as the Internet --- a lot of people don't have that luxury --- you probably need to try and get out a lot more and see if you can meet new friends --- join a club or something similar --- but don't dwell and feel sad for yourself --- that does no good --- life's to short to feel bad --- pick your game up mate --- there's room for you too !!! good luck

please read books ,go out,make friends and stop having self pity.Remember its only you who can make or mar your life.
happiness is not the absence of sufferings but to overcome them and not to be affected by them.Happiness does not require any condition to fulfil.The spring is just beneath your feet,where you are standing right now!so just chill ,life is to take up challenge and win...

try to talk with your friends always and think positive things. do some stuff to make you busy and productive.
