as an Englishman it always amazes me how Americans have not been banned from this site.
The problem with these American types is they are just to sharp and quick witted for the rest of us to deal with.
We cannot deal with your thick skinned attitude, when opposed you do not resort to violence or threats, you just respond with a witty reposte.
i.e "F**k off you motherf**ker" classy, very classy

That little banner quite distinctly says "UK and Ireland questions" in the box, so perhaps yahoo should explain why they put everybody "into the same pot" when the questions are a bit thin on the ground at this time of the day - 14.43 B.S.T. ! ! !

Greetings, Sidney Vicious, I don't know what happened to upset you so, but when I log on to Y/A, there is a little box on the page, that asks if I would like to look at questions from anyone that speaks English, or from Americans only. Sometimes I choose the Americans only box. If they present me with that choice, I am sure they must present you with a similar choice as well?
Sorry to hear if someone upset you to a point where you think all Americans are boorish...I love Brits, I meet a good many in my line of work, and enjoy it very much. Have a nice day :)

As an American, i imagine that you merely revealed this, worded in this way, because you want to initiate a controversial submit that receives human beings heated. maximum individuals are too wise to fall for one of those garbage yet i'm hoping you get the responses which will make you satisfied. individuals are proud and could no longer like the theory that you state that you "own many" that turned right into a strong line. Cornflakes (i do not look after Cheerios)

I sort of agree with you. However it's a Yahoo problem. Not quite sure why the Flags are on the bottom of this page. I press the U.S. section and keep getting these Brits on these sections. If I wanted to listen to the Brits I'd press the Union Jack flag, but alas it doesn't work and the banter flows across the pond.

So all Americans are 'sharp and quick witted'? Well I never.
Of course Americans shouldn't be banned from this site or any other, you twit. Some of my best friends are American and how would I keep in touch with them?
Admittedly some Americans, namely their government and their government's fans, need to be reminded that friends don't let friends invade countries that haven't attacked them.

Of course we can't ban Americans, who else could we debate the Iraq, Iran blah blah blah thing with if we didn't get any response from the Yanks? I agree they are infuriatingly think skinned but they are just patriotic and hanging onto the belief their nation is the superpower for good instead of complete mess!

As an englishman myself, I say your question & comment make no sense. Why would you want to ban Americans from yahoo answers? I could understand it if you wanted to ban racists & bigots, but I'm sure that most Americans are neither.

No, don't ban them. It's good to talk - or, in this case, listen! A different point of view cannot be anything but healthy even if those views are dealt with by the Brits with their usual ability to be even-handed.
